Body Shop Shea Butter

This is the gold standard of daily moisturizers in the skin care industry. If you are suffering from dryness or eczema, body shop’s shea butter will definitely be effective in keeping your skin moisturized. This was one of the very first products that I used and subsequently stuck to over the years. It is a body moisturizer. This easily holds your skin intact for over 48h. Along with this, of course, you can use tropical steroids (if prescribed) but in the long term steroids will eventually damage the skin especially if used on the face. Personally, shea butter did turn out to be especially safe for me and showed no side effects at all. It might seem trivial but there are moisturizers out there which can irritate and increase the itching because an eczema skin is always sensitive and prone to show early signs of resistance when compared to a non eczema skin.

As part of the skin care diet, body shop shea butter proves to be a powerful in moisturizing and maintaining that for enough length of time. Although body shop offers a 400 ml product, the 200 ml one is the most easily available. It does cost a bit on the higher margin but to be fair I think it justifies the quality of the product. Since there are different kinds of eczema – I want to be clear that this applies to atopic dermatitis. Nothing much needs to be said about this product anymore. Body shop has created something really genuine and helpful.
